SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and precautions and procedures before performing repairs or religious service. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.

Honda Civic DX 2002 - Removal

  1. Cook for certain you receive the anti-theft code for the radio, then put down the frequencies for the energy's preset buttons.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and so disconnect the cocksure cable, and wait at least 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover (see page 20-61).
  4. Disconnection the connectors from the fuse broadside of the under-dash blend/relay box.

  5. Remove the mounting bolt, and slide the under-scoot fuse/relay box (A) down from the bracket (B).
  6. Disconnect the back pull from connectors from the back of the under-dash fuse/relay boxful, and remove the fuse/relay box.
NOTE: The SRS connector is a spring-loaded lock typecast (see appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article).

Honda Territorial division DX 2002 - Installation

  1. Install the low-level-dash merge/relay box in the reverse Holy Order of remotion and connect all connectors to the subordinate-dash fuse/relay box.
  2. Install the driver's dashboard lower cover.
  3. Join both the negative cable and positive wire to the barrage.
  4. Enter the anti-thievery code for the radiocommunication, then get in the customer's radio set station presets.
  5. On '04 model, reset the power windowpane control unit (see Information processing system RELEARN PROCEDURES article generally Data).
  6. Confirm that all systems put to work the right way.
  7. Do the engine control faculty (ECM) idle learn procedure (see appropriate COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in Full general Selective information).

Honda Civil DX 2002 - Power Relay Test

Role this chart to identify the type of relay, then do the test recorded for it.

NOTE: For the turn indicator/hazard relay input examination (see page 22-92).
